Providing support group services to meet your needs
Bereavement Support: Suffield Community Aid partners with Masonicare to offer two eight-session support groups per year – one in the Spring and one in the Fall to persons who are grieving the loss of a loved one. The group meets at the SCA building located at 450 South Street, Suffield. The program is offered at no cost. There are no residency restrictions. The Suffield Mini-Bus is available to assist with transport for Suffield residents.
Parkison's Peer Support
Suffield Community Aid facilitates a monthly peer support group for sharing ideas and resources in the management & treatment of the disorder. The group meets the second Tuesday of each month (September – June) at Suffield Community Aid from 11am – 12pm.
Caregiver Support Group
Caregiver Support group: Suffield Community Aid partners with Home Helpers and the Alzheimer’s Association of Connecticut to offer a monthly support group. The group meets on the last Tuesday of the month at the SCA building located at 450 South Street, Suffield. The program is offered at no cost. There are no residency restrictions. The Suffield Mini-Bus is available to assist with transport for Suffield residents.
