Suffield Community Aid serves as an intake site for the CT State Program that offers rental rebates to eligible older and/or disabled residents.

State law provides a reimbursement program for Connecticut renters who are elderly or disabled, and whose income does not exceed certain limits. The renter’s rebate amount is based on a graduated income scale and the amount rent and utility payments (excluding phone) made in the previous calendar year. Applications must be made between April 1st and September 30th.
