Forward Focus, a partnering program to help launch Suffield teens and emerging adults. We're committed to supporting the success and well-being of teens and young adults in our community. We recognize that achieving goals and overcoming obstacles can be challenging, especially for those facing financial or systemic barriers.
Program Overview
Our Forward Focus Financial Assistance Program is designed to provide targeted support to teens and young adults who are struggling to attain their goals in areas such as:
– Education and career development
– Employment and job training
– Personal growth and well-being
Program Purpose
The purpose of Forward Focus is to identify and address individual barriers in the attainment of work, educational or other goals. SCA will consider partial funding for: GED courses, technical & trade school programs, driver’s education, counseling programs, work-related expenses and some college-associated costs.

Qualifications
SCA will identify and conduct outreach to persons age 15-24 who have been served by SCA over the years for participation in the program. Other applicants must be referred by social workers, guidance counselors or clinicians.
